You will find a mix of cosmic energy and visionary imagery in Ana Paredes' artwork. At the centre of the piece is an inactive sphere, surrounded by radiating stars and dynamic, golden lines. These are superimposed on one another in luminous motion, creating the impression of a vibrating force field.
Symbolically, the HOBart piece represents the moment of creative innovation – the point at which ideas and energy collide, re-arrange themselves and gain momentum. The luminous cosmos is a metaphor for our innovative capacity, which penetrates new spheres at the speed of light. A visual manifesto of creative force and trend-setting technology.
Ana Ludovica Farías Paredes was born in Santiago de Chile, where she also completed her studies in graphic design. In 2010 she moved to Spain and lived there for seven years before relocating to Germany in 2017.
She kicked off her career in Germany by successfully retraining as a technical product designer in 2020. She has been a very enthusiastic employee of HOBART since May 2023.
Alongside her technical work, painting represents a key part of her life. She is particularly fascinated with the links between geometry and colour; something that is reflected in her work.
Her first exhibition in 2018 was held in Offenburg in the building belonging to Mildenberger Verlag. This was followed in 2022 by subsequent exhibition with other artists in the Opel building in Offenburg.
