Subject to the end customer’s consent, the dealers can link with the customer’s dishwashers using the online platform and thus identify faults in advance of the repair. For this feature, the world market leader for commercial warewashing recently received the COOKING AWARD 2019 in gold, presented by the trade magazine COOKING + CATERING INSIDE.
Chefs all over Germany voted for their favourites among the convenience products and kitchen equipment launched on the market in the previous year. HOBART convinced in the warewashing category with its new WASHSMART partner portal. The dealers cooperating with the Offenburg-based dishwasher manufacturer can get an overview of the statuses of the machines sold by them, access information on the current settings and the hygiene protocol, and manage the service and consumables orders. Error messages can be seen online, and any upcoming service calls can be optimally planned.
Already in 2017, HOBART introduced the WASHSMART app on the market which allowed end customers to network with their dishwasher. At the push of a button, extensive information on the status of the machine can be retrieved. Among other features, the app informs well in advance of due maintenance dates, or chemical consumption and displays any system messages. Based on this data the user can avoid standstill and re-order consumables directly via the app. With the help of the troubleshooting guide comprised in the HOBART app, users can remedy minor faults themselves. If the problem still cannot be solved, the customer contacts the customer service or a qualified service partner directly via the HOBART app.
