Colours meet and create a colourful symphony. When viewed individually, they appear to be contrasting. Yet when taken as a whole, a rich tapestry of dynamism, power and fantasy arises. “That’s what diversity is all about”, comments Jürgen Bauert, drawing parallels and comparing his interplay of colours to the diversity of people who work together. Whether you are young or old, big or small, black or white, male or female: the most creative and successful teams are those that consist of the most diverse people. This creates dynamism. This is where diversity arises.

Jürgen Bauert
Jürgen Bauert focuses on abstract painting in his work. The 53-year-old primarily works with simple materials such as paint, oil and acrylic.
He usually does not mix his colours, and applies them to the canvas spontaneously, following the "action painting" technique. Jürgen Bauert avoids any kind of deliberate composition, and instead simply follows his intuition. The resulting works resemble a kind of documentary. Based on this type of application and the associated physical interaction of the materials, he merely acts as a medium.
Jürgen Bauert works and lives in Niederschopfheim near Offenburg and has already shown his works at numerous exhibitions in the region.
