Almost 1,900 users of the “Gastro Info Portal” by B&L Medien cast their vote. They judged 857 manufacturers from 23 food and technology categories. In the warewashing category, HOBART was once again voted to the top-ranking position by the German hotel, restaurant, and catering industry, after previously achieving this in 2010 and 2014.
The ceremony in the evening of 10th of March felt almost like a graduation. Awards were given in 23 food and technology categories for best results in the totaled-up sectors quality, service, and price/performance ratio. The contestants excitedly waited for the proclamation of the winners: Till the end, nobody knew who would receive the coveted distinction "Best of Market". The decision was based on the votes of the "Gastro Info Portal" users and the readers of the trade journals "first class", "GVmanager", "24 Stunden Gastlichkeit" and "Schulverpflegung" by the Munich publishing house B&L Medien.
When it came to the "Warewashing" category, Martin Reineke, HOBART Regional Sales Manager West, and Martin Wieder, HOBART Regional Sales Manager North-East, were called on stage to receive the "Best of Market" award. "We are very happy to have won this prize. It is the proof that our focus on 'washing without water' and on technical optimisation fully hits the mark. And it confirms our conviction that premium quality, reliable one-stop service, and an excellent price-performance ratio are the key factors for success", explain the experienced HOBART managers. After the years 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2014, HOBART has now received the award for the fifth time.
