As a company that is active worldwide, we place great emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) here at HOBART and have initiated a variety of measures to shoulder our responsibility for our staff, society and the environment.
Why? We do this because we are conscious of our joint responsibility. This commitment is a decisive and sustainable contributor to our entrepreneurial success.
We have been putting our climate protection programme CO2NSEQUENT successfully into practice since 2001. The programme includes a number of individual measures centred around climate protection. Whether regarding building construction, the production sequences or our products – we take a holistic ecological approach.

With the leadership model "MOVE", which stands for “Motivation, Offenheit, Verantwortung, Entwicklung” (motivation, openness, responsibility, development), we set standards for all employees and managers. They are inspirational and enable each individual to constantly develop and grow both professionally and personally within the company.

Our qualified professionals and managers have made us what we are today - global market leaders in commercial warewashing! We are proud that we are able to train and promote our own employees. Every year, we offer a variety of apprenticeships and dual study programmes in the commercial and industrial sectors. We also promote individual further training and development measures for our employees.
We set up our promotional programme TALENTS FOR THE FUTURE to prepare especially talented employees for future management positions. With this programme, we would like to supervise and support promising employees with their next career move.
With our HOBART WoMen's Council initiative, the focus is on promoting women in technical career fields and management positions as well as improving work-life balance. Women are also given the opportunity to network and support each other.
Setting an example for our own social responsibility is an integral part of the HOBART company philosophy.
For example, we support local social and cultural projects and institutions, such as kindergardens, associations, and social organisations.
Furthermore, the WorldVision project is close to our heart, and we have been sponsoring two children in Tanzania for many years now.
